There are so many different flavors in the world to experience. From spices that are unlike the ones you may use every day to foods that are prepared in a whole new way, the world has a lot to offer the true foodie.

At Steveston Seafood House, we enjoy exploring foods from around the globe and preparing our fresh and local products in a way that you’ve never tasted before -- this is the inspiration behind our new four course menu, and we know you are going to love it!

A Sneak Peek

What do we mean when we say that the items on our new menu are world inspired? Here’s a closer look at some of the dishes that you’ll find.

  • Tuna Tataki: this Asian-inspired dish is prepared a delicate sesame crust, daikon sprouts, and a ponzu sauce. With one bite, you’ll be exported to the Asian seas while knowing that you are still eating sustainable and local seafood expertly prepared by our world class chef.

  • Wild Salmon: our locally caught wild salmon has been unique prepared as part of our new tasting menu. We’ve wrapped tender pieces of fresh salmon in a flaky phyllo crust, added some brie cheese that perfectly melts into the salmon, and covered it all in a zingy lemon thyme cream. The result is sheer salmon perfection.

  • Moroccan-Style Short Rib: if you love ribs, you have to try our spin on this classic Moroccan dish. Prepared with dried apricots and Sultan raisins and placed on a bed of perfectly spiced cous-cous and fresh asparagus, you’ve never tasted tender and fruity ribs like these before!

  • Dessert: the perfect four course meal has to end in dessert, and we’re not about to disappoint where the sweet stuff is concerned! For dessert, you can choose between our all-new raspberry parfait (raspberry mousse piled high with Chantilly cream), or our Frangelico creme caramel - as classic as it gets (go ahead and give this creme caramel a crack!).

Always Committed to Sustainability

Even though our menus may change, our commitment to sustainability never does. At Steveston Seafood House, we always serve seafood that is part of the Vancouver Aquarium’s Ocean Wise program. This means that all of our seafood is local and sustainably caught, so you can feel good about nourishing your body with seafood that doesn’t harm the ocean.
