Four Course "Dine Out" Special
We have a special offer of our four course "dine out" menu now $35 and available until April 15th. Start with your appetizer of either a Beef Carpaccio made from only AAA graded Filet Mignon along with capers, baby arugula, shaved parmigiano and a hint of truffle oil or Coconut Prawns handpicked for freshness and quality before we ever put them on your plate. Next is a house green salad, made of only the freshest ingredients and get your palate ready for your main course entrée.
For your entrée you can choose from a Cedar Plank Salmon, baked to perfection in the oven with seasonal vegetables or a mouthwatering Seafood Linguini made of mussels, seared prawns and scallops along with arugula, white wine, heirloom tomatoes and only the best olive oil.
If you've never had tiramisu you've been missing out on one of the best desserts known to man, however, here's your chance. Wrap up your amazing meal with our tiramisu dessert. Ladyfingers dipped in coffee and layered with an amazing mixture of mascarpone cheese, eggs and sugar and flavored further with cocoa. Tiramisu means "pick me up" or "lift me up" and this dessert is the perfect end to your meal and will definitely lift you up and coming back for the entire experience time and time again.
It's About the Wine
Nothing makes a meal more complete than the perfect wine accompaniment. Steveston Seafood House has sourced amazing wines from two boutique wineries, St Hubertus and Little Straw Vineyards.
St. Hubertus is one of the oldest vineyards within the Okanagan Valley since 1928. The Gebert families have been tending to the vineyard for more than 25 years and have switched their focus to producing 100% estate grown wines through sustainable procedures and ones that reflect the history and the culture of the North Okanagan Valley. Their wines show off the complexity that wine lovers have come to expect from the "old world" with the clean fresh flavors and fruits of the "new world". The resulting effect is their collection of memorable and authentic wines sold under both the Oak Bay and St. Hubertus labels.
Choose to pair your four course "dine out" special with their 2012 Dry Riesling winner of the gold at the 2014 All Canadian Wine Championships and the platinum award winner in the 2014 WineAlign National Wine Awards. The Dry Riesling has flavors of Granny Smith apples and lime with a lively crisp citrus acidity.
Little Straw Vineyards
Little Straw Vineyards was established back in 1996 and has been making amazing and popular wines from their winemaker Peter Slamka. Although this is a newer company the Slamka family is no stranger to wine as their family has been growing grapes since 1969. Almost all of the grapes that they use come from their very own vineyards, located near Kelowna, BC on the lower slopes of Mount Boucherie. Their wine selection has something sure to please virtually every palate.
Choose to pair your four course "dine out" special with their 2013 Sauvignon Blanc. This is a zesty dry white wine offering citrus, grass, gooseberry along with hints of both asparagus and green beans. The palate is something which greatly complements the bouquet and will finish with a very weighty minerality.
